Plein Air Inwood!

A three day celebration of outdoor painting in northern Manhattan June 21, 22 and 23

Local artists will paint Inwood’s lively scene and the amazing scenery. This event is brand-new in 2019.

To celebrate the solstice and kick off the event, we’ll paint a nocturne from 7:30- to 9:30 PM on June 21. We’ll paint while listening to jazz at Inwood’s Sing for Hope piano (https://www.singforhope.org/pianos) at the entrance to Inwood Hill Park at Seaman and Isham Sts.
People can come see us work and enjoy great music simultaneously.

Saturday June 22 (painting 8 AM-10 PM)
We’ll paint where inspiration takes us in northern Manhattan.

Sunday June 23 grand finale   2-4:30 PM (painting 8 AM-1:30 PM)
After a morning painting in the area Dyckman St and Broadway, the public is invited to join us to view an open air exhibit in the RING garden from 2-4:30 PM.
Come meet the artists, see the paintings created over the three days, enjoy some luxurious snacks and maybe buy a painting of Inwood to take home!
