The Harlem Renaissance Quilting Project

An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until 06/25/2019

Harlem 100 celebration event honoring the 100th anniversary of the Harlem Renaissance! Quilting classes, taught by premier African American quilter/fiber artist Ife Felix, which will honor various luminaries of the Harlem Renaissance, with a focus on those who lived in the neighborhood surrounding Morris-Jumel Mansion.
Classes are held every Tuesday from 6-7:30pm: 5/7/19-6/25/19, ending in a community presentation of the work.
Limit to 15 people per class. Please contact communityoutreach@morrisjumel.org for further information.
Single class: $25.00 / $15.00 students/members/seniors. Click here for tickets.
A one-time materials fee of 10.00 for all participants will be included in the cost of your first ticket.
