Summer Solstice Celebration
The Hispanic Society Museum and Library will celebrate the summer solstice with the unveiling of the recently restored bronze doors of the East Building of the Hispanic Society, by the American Sculptor Berthold Nebel (1889–1964). Cast in 1931, the doors depict scenes of Native American life. The event is open to families and friends. Children’s workshops, music, refreshments.

The restoration of the East Building bronze doors of the former Museum of the American Indian, Heye Foundation, has been made possible by the generous support of the American Express Foundation.
