Interactive Imagining – Contemporary electro-acoustic flute soundscapes

Join us for a special afternoon of melodic and ambient sounds from award-winning flutist, composer, and educator Yael Acher “KAT” Modiano. Inspired by our neighborhood, “KAT”’s flute and electronics interpret the impression of streets, architecture, traffic, people, etc. With spontaneous flow of interaction between performer and audience, this active music listening and imagining invokes stories for all ages.
