Call for Submissions: Uptown Arts Stroll 2012 Poster Contest

Deadline: Friday 16 March by 5 p.m.

Northern Manhattan’s annual arts festival returns this June! The Uptown Arts Stroll invites neighborhood residents and visitors from the rest of the city to a month of art exhibitions, performances, and more, north of W 155th Street.

The Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance (NoMAA) is calling for submissions for the Uptown Arts Stroll 2012 poster contest.

Specifications:

  1. Artist may submit only one image for consideration.
  2. Artist must be a resident of Washington Heights or Inwood.
  3. Image will be used for publications with the following dimensions:
    • Poster: 11 x 17 in.
    • Brochure: 6 x 10¾ in.
    • Postcard: 5½ x 8½ in.
  4. Allow for full color and B&W reproduction.

The panel will select finalists. Finalists will be asked to bring a hard copy of the image, on paper or board no larger than 9 x 12 in., to exhibit at a NoMAA Artists’ Salon where the winning image will be selected by community vote.
