ARC XVI Fort Washington Senior Center, in collaboration with STAR Senior Center, hosts Life Studies an exhibition featuring the work of STAR’s older adult artists examining the cycle of life in a variety of subjects. Lifelong Learning through the Arts, a bilingual talk, will take place during the opening with the artists sharing what making art later in life means to them, and the writers and poets of ARC.

Featuring the Giraffe Path (an installation of giraffes created by local youth and artists), Hike the Heights is an annual community event that brings families and neighbors into the parks of Northern Manhattan for hiking and a community party with arts, games, food, and active fun! Presented by CLIMB (City Life is Moving Bodies) and CAW (Creative Arts Workshops for Kids).
Begin the hike at one of 5 locations: RING: Dyckman St. & Broadway; Swindler’s Cove: Dyckman St. & 10th Ave.; Jackie Robinson Park: 147th St. & Bradhurst; St. Nicholas Park: 135th St. & St. Nicholas Ave.; Central Park: NW corner of 110th St. & Central Park West.
