The Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance (NoMAA) is pleased to announce the Uptown Arts Stroll 2009 — an annual arts festival held in the communities of Washington Heights and Inwood during the month of June. The goal of the Arts Stroll is to promote upper Manhattan’s arts, cultural, and business scene by attracting visitors from the neighborhood and the rest of the city to a month of arts exhibits and performances north of 155th Street.
Please join us in the various events scheduled during the Stroll, and/or share information on where you will be exhibiting or showcasing work around the neighborhood, to be included in the festival calendar. The print deadline for the Stroll calendar is April 30 (information submitted after this date will be updated on the online calendar but will not appear in the printed calendar).
If you are planning to have an event in a park area in Northern Manhattan, permit requests must come through NoMAA. If you are looking for an opportunity to participate, please see the How to Participate page or contact NoMAA at info[at]nomaanyc.org or 212-568-4396.
