how to participate

Artists and venues (organizations, businesses, etc.) are invited to participate in the 2008 Uptown Arts Stroll.

Artists :: Group Shows :: Open Studios :: Venues

Artists

Visual artists, singers, musicians, dancers, poets, etc., who reside in Washington Heights, Inwood or Marble Hill are invited to participate in the 2008 Uptown Arts Stroll. To do so, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Identify potential venues from the list of venues or find new venues on your own.
  2. Contact the identified venue(s), show them your portfolio, and make arrangements to show your work during the Uptown Arts Stroll (1-30 June) or longer.
  3. When you have booked a venue, fill out the venue listing form to let us know about the arrangements.

We will add your information to the venues & artists page. Note: if you let us know by the print deadline of 30 April, your information will also appear in the Uptown Arts Stroll Guide being published by The Manhattan Times.

IMPORTANT: You hang your work at your own risk — venues are NOT responsible for your artwork.
